Compact Semiconductor Fan Heater Cirrus 80, 450/800 Watt
The PTC fan heaters of the Cirrus series are high-performance units designed for heating air and providing directed airflow in closed electrical enclosures of all kinds. They consist of a PTC heating element (semiconductor heater) and an axial fan, housed in a compact aluminum and plastic casing. Thanks to the DIN clip and terminal block, the PTC fan heaters can be easily and space-savingly integrated into customer applications.
They are particularly common in control cabinets, where they protect electronic components from moisture and frost. The Cirrus 80 is available in two power versions, 300/600 W and 450/800 W, each offering two selectable heating levels, suitable for 230 V AC operation.
PTC fan heaters provide all the advantages of PTC heating technology. Due to the PTC effect, the heating elements automatically adjust their power output without ever exceeding a maximum temperature. This ensures both high operational safety and energy efficiency, without the need for additional switching components.
